Garmex is a Polish manufacturer of medical clothing as well as a wide range of textile products used in hospitals and other health care facilities. In 2005, we introduced reusable barrier surgical clothing to the Polish market that meets the requirements of the MDD 93/42 directive and the harmonized standard PN-EN 13795. Thanks to the use of innovative materials, we eliminated traditional cotton as a fabric carrying the risk of hospital infections, and we also created a competitive alternative to single-use products.
Today’s times are the times of caring for the natural environment and striving to reduce the amount of generated waste, in particular hazardous waste such as medical waste. That is why we are convinced that we made the right choice when creating a range of reusable barrier products. Years of experience, cooperation with leading fabric manufacturers and constant quality supervision over the products introduced to the market make us a leader among the companies operating on the market.
After achieving an unquestionable success in the area of hospital operating theatres and in response to inquiries from other areas of the functioning of health care units, we expanded our offer with new assortment groups, still taking care to maintain quality standards. It is for this reason that our products meet the stringent criteria of the CEN / TS: 14237 standard concerning the requirements for textiles used in healthcare.
Experienced staff, modern machinery and following global trends help us deliver high-quality products, products that meet often very unconventional/specific requirements of our customers.
We pay special attention to proper customer service, because only through interaction with them are we really able to provide optimal solutions.
In 2014, our company established cooperation with a manufacturer of fully automated, advanced devices for the distribution of workwear. Since then, Garmex has been their distributor in Poland.
The Polytex device system supports, automates and significantly facilitates the circulation of workwear around the hospital. Thanks to its installation, it is possible to significantly reduce the costs associated with garments and increase the level of hygiene.
The system can be used with both operating room garments and workwear used by all hospital staff. The system includes: devices for dispensing clean clothes, devices for collecting dirty clothes and advanced software for handling the whole thing.
